You Ain't Seen Nuthin' Yet
The Houston Rockets sit atop the Western Conference Standings with a 6-1 record, Tracy McGrady is third in the league in scoring and Yao Ming was just named Player of the Week. And according to Rockets.com, they haven't come close to playing their best basketball.

"We play hard every single night, and as a team, we understand each other," said hard-to-please forward Shane Battier. "But I still think we have long ways to go. We haven't really shot the ball well all season. And once that comes around, and it will, we will be a much better offensive team."

With victories over West powers San Antonio and Utah, the rest of the league would probably welcome Houston's "adjustments," but with the Spurs, Suns and Mavs all on tap in the next week, T-Mac is looking forward to the challenge of putting it all together. "I can't wait to see how good we are once we start clicking," said McGrady.

What's Inactive?
Jazz rookie Morris Almond got philosophical in his latest blog post after being placed on the inactive list. "Sure I was ‘inactive’ (I get a little chill down my spine every time I write that word) last game, but at least I’m healthy. My family is well. At least I’m on a good team and with a good organization. There are worse places I could be."

Dishin' It Out
In Dallas, word is that Jerry Stackhouse is the best assist-man on the team. “He’s the best passer on the team, by far,” said Jason Terry. “That’s no secret." The Mavs are 20-1 in the last 21 games when Stack posts four assists.
